Senior Year

So, I just went back to school yesterday, and I had a lot of catching up to do because of the whole going to Canada the day that school started ordeal. I had to explain my situation to all my teachers and people were confused to find me suddenly in their class. But, it felt good to see everyone again and to get back into the swing of things. I have kind of a bad schedule when it comes to proximity of my classes. It's like when I was a freshman and I was running to get to my classes. Except this time around, I don't care as much. Art is going to be significantly different than last year. Aside from not having Simar with me, it is also a much larger class with most of the students not in AP. It is irksome. And, it is right before lunch, so I am super tired and hungry.
Anyway, I like my classes A LOT better when they are AP or Honors classes with only seniors. THOSE are my people. I can't STAND the people in regular classes. Also, I am considering dropping Astronomy. It's my first class so that would mean that I could come to school later and not have to wake up so early.
Also, I REALLY want to get into Pottermore! I registered on the second day, but I still haven't gotten my email! I can't wait till I'm in, though! It shall be fantastic :)
So, recently, I've been really excited about college, even though I still don't know which school I want to go to, although I've had ideas. I know that I want to go to the Pacific Northwest if at all possible. But, I think I need to retake the SAT to improve my score. The average for a school I'm interested in is 1800-2030, which I don't quite make....

13 I think. I am ashamed to say that I didn't read Harry Potter until high school. I regret it. But, luckily, Aley forced me to read them. And thank god she did.

Hufflepuff. I legitimately AM one and I think they have a bad reputation for no reason. And that makes me sad. Hufflepuffs should be proud!

So

Today, I woke up rather late and didn't do much. Aley came over and we just watched TV and painted. And then I had dinner. And that is literally all I've done today. I'm still pretty tired from my surgery that I had on Friday. And it's Tuesday. Yeah... Anyway. I don't really want to write about my plans for the next few days because then there will be no point in writing about the actual events when they happen. So, I shall refrain from doing that. I do, however, still have to finish my summer homework assignments. I just have to read an article for Econ and take notes on it. It shouldn't be that hard, but I keep putting it off. And I have to study literary terms for English but I'm doing that on Quizlet and it's actually quite enjoyable. OH! Today, I totally managed to get my mom to preorder me a copy of The Fault in Our Stars! That was awesome. Now, if only I can scrape up eight dollars to renew my DeviantART membership for another three months.... that would be great.
Ok, that's pretty much all I've got for today, but, hey! At least I wrote an entry!

I'm a fail blogger

I realize that I blog mostly for my own enjoyment, but still. It's been more than a year since I last blogged! Well, at least here... Tumblr doesn't really count.
I know that so much has changed in the last year that I'm not even going to attempt to try to get caught up. But I DO want to start blogging more frequently. I think it helps my writing. Even though I don't consider myself a writer, it would still be nice to improve on my writing and document my life. So, I'm going to try to blog about SOMETHING in my life every day. Let's see how this goes.
Today, I went to Maddie's house for the first time. There were people there I didn't know, so I met new people. Sarah broke the trampoline and I ate mashed potatoes. That is all for today.

Summer so far

I've had a lot of time to draw this last week or so and I've really been enjoying myself. I've started working on watercolors and combining it with watercolor pencils. Below are some stuff I've done at home. I'm also working on a self portrait as part of the AP Art summer assignment. I think it's coming along pretty good.
I'm also rewatching the entire Avatar: The Last Airbender series! I'm making my dad watch it. So about every night at around one, Derek, my dad, and I all have a South African snack and watch two to four episodes of Avatar! It's been awesome and my good friend, Eliza has been so kind as to lend to DVDs to us!
Tomorrow, my aunt is coming for a couple of days. I miss her and can't wait to see her.

Last Day of School!

So today was the last day of Sophomore year! Finals are over and Summer is finally here! I hate the weather, but I love the whole no-school thing!
So, after school, Aley, Simar, Suman, Eliza, Laura, and I all went to Qdoba for lunch. I was really fun, especially when Al and Suman were trying to see what the other was texting to BINGO (it's a long, terribly obnoxious story, better told on other blogs, but it basically means the guy they like) and they would fight over the phones.
Derek baked a cake, and it was really good except I'm not too fond of the frosting...
I have many plans for this Summer, some of which are quite imminent. Molly's coming over tomorrow, I'm having a pool party on Saturday, and I'm going to Lariska's pool party next Saturday!
So, yeah, fun times!
